BLACKBERRY Z10 BATTERY ISSUES NOT DISCLOSED

I am a Nashua Mobile client, who most unfortunately "upgraded" (now THERE is a laugh!) to a Blackberry Z10 in April 2013. I have ever since had major battery issues... The battery goes from full to flat in 4 - 5 hours, while the phone is not being used at all... From full to fully flat in only 2 - 2.5 hours with moderate phone use. A battery that - spontaneously, while the 'phone is in my shirt pocket, not being used at all - gets so hot that the 'phone becomes impossible to comfortably be carried in that shirt pocket.. A phone with a battery which allows use of only the most basic functions (voice SMS Email), as there is simply no possibility of it being able to power any "smart phone" apps at all.

That phone has now been replaced. With a brand new, but OBF unit that - from receipt on Tuesday 26 November - has exhibited EXACTLY the same battery fail characteristics..
