I took a contract with 8ta where I was offered a data bundle that normally costs R349 was on promotion for free. I agreed only to find when my bill arrived that I was charged for it. After phoning the call centre almost every day for 2 weeks I was assured that my debit order wouldnt go off and I could manually pay the correct amount. However on my debit order date the amount did go off, much higher and upon calling the call centre, no one could give me a proper reason as to why. This is clearly a sign of incompetence and telkom is incapable of resolving a simple problem. I have yet to see if I am refunded snd am seriously considering cancelling my contract. Very disappointed.
