Will not assist in repairing phone

I purchased a Samsung S3 handset. I was told the amount I will be paying on a monthly basis. I aslo took out insurance on the phone and was never notified that the insurance is paid separately. It is when a debit order went off from my account that I went to the bank and queried it then reversed the payment on 2 consecutive times. Now my phone was damaged and as a result went to MTN to report this and was told that they will not fix the phone or have the warrantee cover the phone. I was told that the insurance has not been paid 4 2 consecutive months. I told them the debit order has been goin off but they said the insurance was not paid. I ended up takin my phone to Samsung & paid an excessive amount of R2000. So this is the question I ask MTN. Why make people pay insurance & you won't even repair their phones. Why was I not notified that the insurance is paid separately & if the premiums were not paid why was I not notified. Now I'm R2000 short. I want a satisfactory answer or else I cancel this contract as MTN breached their contract. Note I'm not the only one complaining of the scheming done by MTN to customers who are tryin to make a living for themselves in these tryin times
