MTN Insurance

A while ago i bough a Samsung S2 I.M.E.I # 358537048543069 that i insured at the MTN store and have been paying for insurance which comes as prt of the MTN invoice Monthly. This month my phone had major with internet and the screen cracked and i booked it in Ref# CNEDG3537213 and after nearly 2 years paying for insurance they tell me my phone is not insured with MTN, but some 3rd party insurance that i need to call and liaise with separately. My the number the lady gave (086 111 3372) is constantly busy and i have a fear that this will take forever and i will not get my phone repaired.

I'm really frustrated with the service that MTN has given me with regard to this issue because if i was paying someone separately for insurance i would know i need to deal with a different entity, but i pay them every month.
