Is their Service (lack there of) really worth it?

About 2-3 days ago, my 2 Mbps (more 1.1-1.7Mbps) internet connection began timing out and dropping to a whopping 0.3-0.6Mbps. Naturally did some tracert and pings followed by various speed tests all confirming it. Next went on to rigorously test from my ISP side. Confirming it to be a line fault went to see if Telkom has any status alert added to their page (suprise suprise NONE) then proceeded to log a call, however it has been days since and nada, not a call not an email and the ticket hasn't even received a comment, open and without any eta.

To this day I have never truly experienced anywhere close to my contract packages max theoretical speed those few times i did it felt like Christmas, lots of times having to crawl at speeds less than smaller packages and they expect clients should just cough up money, not sure if the Consumer act would agree.

None the less, we want service Telkom not imaginative shares! SERVICE remember that?

I suggest a more interactive fault logging system too and an online feed regarding faults that effect areas, having people see something is being done is better than them imagining some exec puffing a cigar somewhere exotic (meant this positively)!
