PATHETIC call centre and service

On Saturday 23 November I drove to Tygervalley and Cape Gate shopping centres to cancel my Virgin Mobile contract, only to find out that BOTH stores have closed down and that there is only one VM store left in Cape Town (Canal Walk). I called Canal Walk's VM store and they advised that I may only cancel my contract via the 126 call centre number. I call 126 today and after approx 10min a man picked up and advise that he will put me through the the cancellation department. After holding for 25 minute an automated voice asked me to rate their service, after which it said "thank you, goodbye" and hung up. I tried again straight afterwards, and after another 25min of holding i gave up.
All i want to do is cancel my freaking contract!
Virgin Mobile, call me if you track someone in your failing company down who can actually assist me in CANCELING MY CONTRACT.
Pathetic and frustrating!
