3 month free farce!

I fell for a telesales call in January 2012 from TELKOM advertising their 3 month free internet ADSL trial. I was assured, if I wanted, I could cancel the contract within 90 days.

I stuck to my side of the agreement and decided that their service was not what I wanted and promptly cancelled within the stiputated time, in writing. I received an account (over R 1000) a month later and called TELKOM about it. I was told it would be reveresed and that the service was cancelled (reference number avaialble).
A month after that, I receive another account and again I call TELKOM and am assured that it will be reversed and cancelled (second refence number available)

18 months later and today I receive a letter from a Debt Collector that if I don't pay TELKOM within 10 days (the letter was posted 8 days ago), TELKOM will proceed with legal action!

I am absolutely seething! This is so wrong and false advertising! I will NEVER use this company again! Beware anyone contemplating this offer!
