Incorrect Active ADSL modem contract - No response

Good Day,

I've tried moving my ADSL service to another provider and was told that I can't as I have an active contract with Telkom. Upon enquiring with Telkom, it came to light that the contract was activated by a consultant in a completely different province than where I reside and I have not taken out any contract during the timeframe they mentioned.

About two weeks ago I lodged an enquiry on their website and am still awaiting feedback or a call.

What would it take for this matter to be resolved as soon as possible as I'm paying R300 per month for a service that I shouldn't have? Would Telkom repay me the unnecessary cost?
