My iPhone 5's on/off button gradually stopped working so I booked it in on 22 Oct and was told it would take 2 to 4 weeks. On 18 Nov I phoned and was told they didn't have it yet so I made a report on hellopeter. Later they phoned me and said they had it. I went to collect it and the waybill showed they had it since 5 November and not only didn't let me know - they denied having it that morning. To make it even worse the phone was returned not repaired. Their lame excuse was that there was an app (Find My iPhone) on it that prevented them from working on it. They could have phoned me and I could have deactivated it via the internet but instead they just sent it back without doing anything so I had to book it in again. When I finally got hold of them on the phone I tried to explain that it was a hardware problem, not a software problem but that I had deactivated Find My iPhone and that they should please escalate it and get the phone fixed. I've been without it for 5 weeks now without a solution. After re-booking in the phone on 18 Nov I only got an SMS on 21 Nov that it is queued for repair (obviously not escalated) with a ref CLC986463. Cell C should be ashamed of the poor service
