Terrible service from technician

I logged a call for a noisy phone line after being given three numbers to phone. That is the first irritation, but the main issue is the conduct of the technician responding to the fault. Whilst the response time was good, the rest was not. The technician phones me from the company gate saying he is here to repair the fault. I tell him to ask our security to show him where to go. Minutes later I get a call from the gate security telling me he is there, now slightly annoyed I tell them to show the technician to my office. About 15 minutes later I leave my office to look for him, only to be told that he has left without saying anything.
The next day on arrival at work I am informed by security that he returned that afternoon while I was in Pretoria. He subsequently left again leaving a message with the security guard that I must log another fault.

Now I don't know if it is Telkom's policy to waste their business clients time but I think it is shocking that that is how a fault is attended to. He did not even have the decency to contact me and say he was leaving for whatever reason. Why must I log the same fault twice? Repair the fault please! Reference no 17BRV191113
