Have to wait 5 month to get ADSL???

I called Telkom last week and ordered a new business ADSL to be installed at my house. First they said it normally takes 14 working days, but can't give me a date as yet, but they suggest I phone and see when they have a date available for me. I phoned them this morning and I was told that they can only install my ADSL in their next financial year that is in April 2014. Please explain to me WHO WILL WAIT 5 MONTH TO GET THEIR ADSL??? I requested for a manager to call me back as all was in a meeting and nobody can help me. The lady at the call centre's name was Hanifa (not sure on spelling), but still nobody has returned my call. I tried to call and speak to a manager or somebody in charge, but of course they keep cutting me off. If Telkom can't assist me, then why have all these adverts on TV and radio for their special that's currently running, but they can't help people this year? I would like an answer very soon so I know if I should cancel my order. How is one supposed to run a business?
