Migration of Line without me permission

I have had a Cell C Contract for over 12 years upgrading every two years with them. On the 18th of October I tried to do my upgrade which is due. The call centre agent did all the necessary with regards to the upgrade only to tell me at the end of it all that she could not because that special offer that was for that day only is a store special and I would have to go to a store. I asked her to the cancel the upgrade and put me back onto my existing top up contract. only for me to discover on the 11th of November that I had been upgraded to a post paid contract (open line). I contacted Cell C immediately with the request to be migrated back to my top up contract as I did not request a migration in the first place. It was easy enough for them to put me on an open line but they cannot process my request to go back to me existing contract. I now cannot even do my upgrade because of the mixup by the call centre agent in October. I was supposed to get a response in two day with regards to my existing contract being migrated back to me. It has now been 7 days. Where to from here MTN or Vodacom
