I was contacted by 8ta renewals department, and was informed that i was eligible for an upgrade on my existing contract, I then made way to an 8ta store filled in the necessary documents. My upgrade was then declined, and i was informed i could carry on with the existing contract as is. My question is then how do you explain the logic of not granting me an upgrade, yet it is ok for me to carry on with the existing contract. What is the difference? Also why contact me to say i qualify for an upgrade, i then waste my time and petrol to go to a store, just to be informed i cannot get an upgrade. My account is up to date, I was one of the first 8ta customers, yet this is how I am treated. after lodging a complaint, 8ta then contacts me offering me an extension on my contract with a choice of 2 handsets, this contract does not even include free minutes as per my existing contract, also what is the difference between a contract extension and an upgrade???
