I renewed my MTN contract in February 2013 and obtained a Blackberry 9360.By June the phone refused to charge and was accordingly booked in for repairs at the Northgate branch where it was purchased. When the phone came back, it was explained that it could not be fixed and i was issued a refurbished Blackerry 9360. It is now November and this refurbished phone is giving me similar problems; it dies instantly when removed from charging irrespective of the battery life, it swicthes off when taking pictures and numerous other small problems. No one at MTN seems to be able to help and all they can say is that i must book the phone in for repairs again. Both phones collectively are less than a year old and have each broken So basically i will just contine to get refurbished phones that dont work until my warranty expires? It creates a major inconvinience when i have a phone i cant take anywhere because it dies when taken off charge. Note once again this my second 9360 in a year that has broken under warranty. I have been a dedicated customer to MTN for over 7 years and feel i should be assisted in some way other than just sending the phone in for repairs all the time.
