Way do we pay insurance on our Cell phones

I got a note 2 for my daughter December 2012. It is on contract But i needed the sim. I pay insurance on it But What no one told me is that the insurance is on the sim and note the phone. And wurst of all is no one told me that i Can activate the sim that she used for that phones insurance. The phone got from out her hand in PTA. She ran after But with no lack. Yes she was Stoeped to run after. And i am Just Claude she is okay. But after a of a plead on the phone. They said Sorry They cannot help. So my quastion is. What happend to the manthly insurance paymend. Was that for nothing. Was that n gift for them. I canceld all my insurance on all my contracts. For after finding all this out. They cannot tell me What sim belongs in the write Cell. I wanted to prevent it from happining again. So if anyone Can help me with this. I would aprisiat it. Becouse They Just want to sell phones and get you on the air. But the after serves stinks. So whos folt is this. Is vodacom giving the bad name to the prevaider or is cellsure.
