Regarding the letter dated 2013/10/23 which I received in the post this week. MS/LS/ST.81251 from Awie Wright Attorneys tel: 018 2945216 email: [Email Removed] I am being handed over to the mentioned attorneys and being threatened with legal actions and the credit bureau.

Since I received my ADSL line from Telkom I only had trouble with it since the beginning. Every now and then my line will be dead for up to 3 weeks at a time. It took many calls and hours of frustration to get Telkom to fix the problem. This continued on and on. Telkom informed us there are some cable fault that they are not willing to repair on a permanent basis.

In the end I decided to cancel my line. When I phoned the call centre to cancel I had this conversation with the person helping me. She then told me that Telkom will go back in history to determine all the time that my line was dead and they would be refunding all the fees I paid while my line was dead.

FYI

My line was dead since a month before I cancelled and also during my cancellation month.

According to my knowledge Telkom owes me money and not the other way around.

Telkom think they can bully customers to pay for services not rendered.
