Still waiting for the consultant's call

I applied for a contract phone with an MTN franchise in Braamfontein on the 25/10/2013 and before filling in any forms i asked if they had any back lock with their suppliers or the approval of contracts but the consultant said no and that I'll get the phone on the 30/10/2013 the latest but because there was no call from them by the 01/11/2013 I went back to the outlet but the consultant admitted to forgetting completely contact me and inform me that they're experiencing difficulties with their deliveries but will definitely contact me by the 06/11/2013 but to date there' still no call or sms from this service provider yet the contract itself was approved. Why cause such an inconvenience
