I would just like to mention my disappointment at Telkom for their non service delivery. I applied for a fixed internet line a few months back through their website, I was contacted and told that my application is being processed. Some time after that I received a SMS saying that the necessary infrastructure in our area, Modelpark, is not available and that it is not included within their budget. I was basically told that I cannot have internet nor will I ever have by our country's only telecommunications company. I am aware that there are other mobile methods available but why should I be discriminated against and pay more for such services? Is it not Telkom's responsibility to provide these services and if not available, provide it? Thanks for nothing Telkom.
