I took my phone in for repairs on the 20th December 2012. Had it not been for me following up with the repair process, I would've never really known what was happening with my phone. All I received was an sms stating: "Job number 84... is currently in the assessment process at the Advanced Repair Centre". The last of those having been received on the 7th January 2013. That's when I felt I had to intervene.

After my calls, no new information came through. I had to then wait another 11 days, until an sms popped up informing me that I rejected a quote that was presented to me by the repair centre. I find it rather odd that I could reject something I was never offered.

After waiting over a month to get my phone back, I managed to track it down. I was given the standard response: Water damage. I decided to lodge an insurance claim. Lo and behold, they have to send it back through the repair process, even though they have a report of it haven gone through the repair process.

So, yet again, I have to wait yet another month. In the mean while, paying for services that I cannot even utilise.

Vodacom, I am utterly disgusted by your service.
