I have been a customer of MTN for 13 years. Over the past 2 or 3 weeks I found that my 3g dongle internet speeds were very slow, this evening I decided to call the call centre for assistance. The agent who took my call asked me the nature of my query and I advised that the problem is on the 3g dongle which is very slow, he then wanted to confirm some of my personal details, which I gave him, I gave him my current email address which he said is not the one they have on file, I gave him an alternate mail address - also not the one on file, he is looking for the email address of when I first created the contract, I have no idea what email address I was using 13 years ago! When I took out the contract for the 3g I filled in a new form with my current email address - Why is this not on your system. The Agent then proceeded to advise me that I must go to the MTN store in my area - They are NOT open at 10pm at night! Eventually after me requesting to speak to a supervisor - None were available - they were all busy - really, at 10pm busy with what? I got put through to data services where Jabu resolved the problem. Note Jabu's service was fantastic, well done Jabu.
