On 21 May 2013 I went to Vodacom Data Store in Canal Walk to take upgrade my cellphone contract. I decided to take out a Talk 700 Red package.
I was informed by the store that my 700 minutes will be loaded on my account on 1 June 2013. I took out a data package for 21 May until 1 June and informed by work that I can make all my work calls from my phone as I have more than enough free minutes to do so. I also asked to put a soft block on my other phone (tel. xxxx) I paid R560 of admin fees etc and were assured that everything is in order.
On 11 June 2013 I went onto Vodacom's website to see how many free minutes is left of my 700 minutes. I saw that according to the website I am still on my old package. (Talk 240)
I contacted Vodacom Canal Walk immediately and were told that that my upgrade was never done and that they will immediately do the upgrade which will take effect on 1 July. I was told over and over again that my 700 minutes will be loaded on my phone on 1 June and made calls accordingly. Must I now pay for a mistake which was made by Vodacom? I called Tygervallay CRM 6 times and all they do is promise to call me back but never do. POOR SERVICE!!!
