Lets Keep the customer waiting for an hour or more

Today I paid a visit to my Cellular service provider Altech Autopage in Midrand. I was firstly greeted with a confused look and then told oops sorry I was thinking of something else. I told the lady at the counter that I would like to speak to someone regarding an insurance claim for my handset, so she took my details and asked me to have a seat in the waiting area. After about an hour and ten minutes of waiting I looked over at the service desk to see what seemed to be the floor manager tell the lady at the front desk to come and speak to me. I was then told the one person on duty was dealing with 5 claims but will be done shortly. Surely they knew this when I announced my arrival and should have told me then already, knowing what to expect... I was then told she will done shortly for which I waited another 15 minutes. I decided to leave as no one I know can take a break from work to have their cell phones repaired for more than an hour. From a customer of more than 10 Years
