Debit after cancellation

Hi there,

I had a cell phone contract with MTN, my contract ended on the 23 Sept 13 and I cancelled my contract a few days after and moved my number to prepaid. In less than 24 hrs I had a confirmation sms saying that I been successfully moved from contract to prepaid.

Beginning of October I loaded my BIS and bought airtime and on the 25 October my banking account was debited by MTN for my contract I ended in Sept.

When I tried to call the 808 number (25 Oct 13) the voice prompt said my number wasn't on contract, then I called the 173 number and spoke to the 1st operator explained and he transferred me to a dead end. I called again and another operator informed that they can't help me because they deal with prepaid and I'm suppose to use MY AIRTIME to call 083808 to sort this out. She said all she can do is send an email to inform the SP billing department and asked for my alternative number.

MTN still hasn't contacted me, meaning they HAVEN'T REFUNDED my money...
