Migration request pending a month

I am currently on a cellphone contract that is too expensive and want to migrate to another contract with more benefits at a lower rate as what I am currently paying.
I have been to Telkom Mobile in Centurion Mall twice and have called the call centre also and still I have been getting no feedback after the initial e-mail stating: "We are looking at the case as they say we must cancel the number and do a replace on the same number as we cannot do that so im waiting for feedback on a migration and the costs''. This is the same message that the person I spoke to at the call centre gave me. This mail was sent 21/10 and no other feedback has been received to date.
