Mid August, we took out a Fixed Line Lookalike contract with Telkom Mobile. Firstly, we signed for a monthly debit order to be taken off on the 8th of every month - we have yet to have been debited for the past 2 and a half months despite going into the Telkom store numerous times!
The call center is also useless as you phone and simply get transferred from person to person with no one having a clue what they're doing. Today we received an sms telling us that we owe in the region of R3300! This is not possible considering that we have only had the line for 2 and a half months and have not gone out of bundle.
I find it extremely rude that Telkom threatens with cutting the service when they haven't been doing what they're supposed to.
Also, we cancelled our previous fixed land line at the end of May - despite going in to the Telkom shop FOUR times, we are told we never cancelled it and that we owe for the past few months despite having cancelled the service!
No one seems to be able to help us at all and I find the Telkom service to be awful - try going into a shop or phoning the call center for what?!
