Unprofessional/Passing the buck

Telecommunications

My Blackberry handset was incorrectly blacklisted by a person unknown to me that contacted MTN telephonically on 27 July 2013 and gave my handset's IMIE number. I originally laid a complaint at MTN Century City on 17 August and several telephone calls, e-mails and an affidavit later my problem is still not resolved. MTN (Farhaana Hendricks) informed my by e-mail that as far as MTN are concerned the handset was unblacklisted they did what they could and there is nothing more they can do. She referred me to Vodacom to lodge an enquiry with them. I have been inconvienenced for almost three months and my complaint has still not been resolved and MTN convienently passes the buck to Vodacom? They also refuse to give me the name and contact number of a senior person/manager at MTN with whom I can discuss my situation.

I have never in my life experienced this kind of treatment and incompetence from any service provider. I have been with MTN for thirteen years and have reached the end of the road with them. I will defnitely contact Vodacom not to complain but to sign up as a new customer.

MTN should be ashamed of themselves and I will defnitely not recommend them to anyone.
