Good morning,

My mom's telephone line has not been working for about 3 weeks now, i have been liasing with Telkom from the 14th of October and they can pick up on their system that the problem started before then. i logged a call on their customer escalation page and got no joy and not even a response, yesterday i sent another e mail and just got the standard response that it would be escalated to the correct department and that they would stay in touch with me. The line is still off and apparently it could be off for in excess of a month due to cable and telkom still deciding on the line of action to be taken as they see the area that my mom is living in a as a high risk area for cable. I find it unacceptable they can't give me a eta as to when the problem will be resolved as she is a pensioner and her land line is her form of communicating with the outside world.
