Extemely bad service

I logged a fault with Telkom 12th September 2013. They advised me my cable has been. One week later they fixed it in error by crossing my line with my neigbbours. The technician then fixed my neighbours line and left mine unresolved. It is now more then a month later and still not resolved. Everybody in my street inlcuding a tennant on the same property has had their service restored but I am still waiting. The cable department claims I live in a high risk area and the cable has been 5 times already, this is complete nonsense as this is the first time my cable has ever been. Now I get the run arounds. Is this how you get treated when you deal with a supplier who has no competition?
