Telkom transfer troubles!!!

I have been trying for the last 3wks to get Telkom to transfer my land line of my previous residence to my new residence but every time its one excuse after the next. I've had 3 different technicians out to my place and there's always a new story.

How many more times do i have to update my new details with Telkom when i phone the 10210 number???

On Saturday 17th May i received a sms to say my problem has been resolved but to my surprise nothing was resolved. My telkom line at home is not working and only found out today that the cable department people have been working on the cables... at my old address??? Whats the logic in this Telkom???

So today i have been told that I must go in to the Telkom office and update my details personally and inform them of the ongoing problem. Honestly... if I knew that I'd be going through so much trouble just for my land line then i wouldn't have bothered transferring the line and would've just left it disconnected!!

What difference does it make if i update my details with the consultants over the telephone and if i go in to the Telkom branch??

I never imagined receiving such bad customer service from Telkom in all my life of being a client!!
