Mweb Throttling Data!!!

I have a 1 Meg uncapped line with Mweb. I run a small online business from home, and need to be online all the time for support. For the past week my internet has been unusable. I assumed it was Telkom, but yesterday Telkom tested my line and told me the fault was on MWEB's side. I gave them a call today, and was told I had been throttled due to large usage. I was never given clear instruction as to how much usage was too much. When I called MWEB today, they said that I need to switch off my machine at night or upgrade to a faster line! I don't need speed, I need continuity! Why was I not told this before I was throttled?!! I asked them to reset it, and they said they could not, that I had to stop using all data, and the problem would reset within 4 days!! That is unacceptable! I have already been unable to work since Monday, now they are saying an additional 4 days from today! Why have I never had this problem before, and why is it happening now?
