I have had uncapped ADSL for 2 years now and i am fully aware of how the throttling process works.
I called the Mweb technical support today to find out why my 2 meg line is running at 200kbps and there only thing the consultants will tell you is that you are being throttled! YES I KNOW THAT! BUT I know that i have not downloaded enough to get my line speed throttled to 200kbps. I asked the consultant what bracket i am being throttled under but they say they cannot see that but yet every other ISP can tell you this information but not Mweb. Maybe if you could see that you could see that there's a problem with my line!!! So i called Telkom (which Mweb should have done as my ADSL line is with them) to find out that they is a problem with the exchange server in my area and the exchange is currently overloaded.
Now that's why my ADSL line is so slow!!! Why do i pay you for my ADSL if Telkom seem to do a better job at helping me???
Last month i had the same problem and i moved to the Premium uncapped but my ADSL was still slow, i called back the next day or so to move back to the standard package but yet i was forced to pay for the premuim for the rest of the month! I want my money back
