I called on 11 September 2013 and cancelled my contract, giving 30 days notice as required by MTN. As at the 12 October 2013 this contract was not cancelled. Surely this is a practice by MTN with the excuse that it was a problem with "their" system.
The second issue with MTN is their so called "credit limit". My line was suspended as the credit limit was reached. This is one of MTN's ridiculous internal systems that decide to suspend lines without warning. My account is paid by debit order and is up to date at any given time.
MTN take chances in the hope that most people do not check accounts properly and think that they can get away with extra charges.
I have had enough of MTN and will be cancelling ALL my contracts.
