Towards the end of every month my account gets suspended by MTN. They tell me my credit limit is too low. We update the system and they restore my service. The problem is that they just never seem to change my credit limit as advised. The latest is that they are now suspending my monthly data service for which I pay a monthly fee. This means that I have no data service for a couple of days while they work out that my credit limit is too low. My MTN account is a debit order and has for the past 12 years always been paid without any problem. I was again embarrassed in front of a customer being unable to demonstrate our companies software because of MTN's poor accounting systems. I again called the call center and they assured me that this again has been rectified. There are just so many better ways to handle this than simply suspending a service. My roughly 50k a year is obviously not that important to these folks.
