I have a business contract/package with MTN. The month that I cancel my itemized billing suddenly on a business package where I have
R 1200 talk time
180 free minutes
1.25 g of data
I have managed, according to them to not only use that FULL quota but then rack up another R 784.00 in air time (apparently for being on the internet (MTN claim they charge you air time for this as well as Data usage???)which is impossible as I have 2 G with Vodacom on my laptop where I do all my work, internet surfing, emails etc and have NEVER reached 2 G, for only R 139 a month) R 184 in data charges and then this month an additional R 450 in air time??? What rates are MTN charging their customers. I have laid over 4 complaints/requests, been escalated to management, requested a detailed report of how I managed to spend this much time on my phone and to date all I have from them is treats to disconnect my phone. In the almost 7 years that I have been with MTN my bill has never exceeded R 1500 how is it suddenly in excess of R 2000 a month and NO I do not spend all day on FB and NO I do not surf the net or spend endless hours playing, gaming or the like? No come back or follow through...
