Applied for ADSL as we didn't want to have to deal with Telkom directly and this is precisely their value-add and service promise. We have had to follow up numerous times and on Saturday after receiving sms's stating that the line was done and ready they couldn't sort out anything. They referred us back to matrix computers to test our brand new router, no issues with it. Then after around 3 hours and numerous consultants a "call" was logged with Telkom. We called back today and no response. Were told we could either wait for a response or call Telkom. We called and got right through to them and they were extremely helpful, spoke us through some things and then basically confirmed that all was fine on their side. Called Afrihost back and were told that the problem was Telkom but no offers to call Telkom. Please explain why we have to be the middleman when this is what you charge for. You could have called them and sorted it out between you as we are not the experts that you claim to be. You told us to buy a data package as this was the issue which we did on Sat but it's not pro-rata as per your sales dept so over again! CANCEL . Webafrica for us!
