Telkom lines a farce!

I have been struggling to get Afrihost to help me sort out my Telkom lines since moving my line there in mid January. When you register, you are assured that they deal with the hassle of dealing with Telkom for you. All of that quickly disappeared since being registered. I logged a complaint ticket regarding this. It took them quite some time to respond to my ticket already.

The response was naturally, go speak to Telkom, (which is what Telkom said I should do with Afrihost). This is one of the numerous complaints I've sent to Afrihost. They always have reasonably prompt, but entirely ineffectual responses. "We fixed it on our side" seems to be their favourite. And yes, this is not the first complaint I've sent..

Not only have Afrihost greedily accepted my money and neglected to sort out the billing issue with Telkom, but my line speeds seem even slower now, as if they now have more control to execute their horrendous shaping policy.

I was already unhappy with the ADSL line rental as is (4 mb uncapped), but this Telkom line is starting to urge me to drop Afrihost all together.
