I recently moved to Telkom's awesome new package, Uncapped Advanced Internet, that finally aims to put South Africa on the Internet broadband map without breaking the bank. I was however double billed due to a mistake made during the subscription process. I couldn't get the problem resolved for weeks as one dispute was rejected after another and telephone support just simply could not get me out of the error loop... extremely frustrating and I was about to jump ship to MWEB. Xolisa at the branch office took the bull by the horns and managed to figure out the actual problem and procedure needed to resolve the issue. At the end of the day successful companies are about having and keeping good people, nevermind the silly procedures that don't work properly and put in place by management. Thank you also to Telkom for making a concerted effort to keep me as a customer by giving me an additional discount.
