Supplying products that do not function per T&C

A) Supplied an iPad 4G device that cannot connect via 3G let alone 4G
b) Supplied a NetGear ADSL Modem that does not function as per advertised feature of Parental Controls
c) After investigation, it turns out the advertised 4G iPad is not a 4G device in the first place
d) Issues logged day after purchase 5th Oct - still waiting for resolution to any of the problems
e) Requested my money back and entire deal cancelled - have been informed there will be penalties if cancelled.

I was aked by the local Telkom Direct office to allow them time to investigate and to try find a resolution.

I have repeatedly requested progress reports, and last week to Telkom's complaints department.

My reccomendation:- IF you can get Telkom to service your request for them to sell you a Awesome Device Deal, expect issues when their sales people / technical people HACK the device to attemp to get it working, then you discover 8ta coverage is not what is claimed, then take care that the device will perform as advertised and/or defined in Telkoms own T&C
