I am a Vodacom customer with 3 contracts and due to the poor customer service I just cancelled 1 contract and seriously considering cancelling the other two contracts. I have a Blackberry Bold 9790 and from week 1 i have
been experiencing problems. Due to my extensive travel for work I could not book my phone in for repairs. In April this year I managed to send my phone in for repairs and since it was a few days into my second year of the contract the phone had to be repaired. However in September this year I experienced the same problem and more issues with the phone. From the 24 September 2013 the phone only reached the Fourways repair centre on the 1 October after me escalating the matter. The escalations Department has been giving me the run around. It seems as though the handsets that Vodacom provides its customers seems to work for a year only and since we are bound by our contract we cannot cancel due to the exorbitant fees charged for premature canceling even though Vodacom provides inferior quality goods and poor customer service. Vodacom can still not provide feedback whether I can exchange my handset. Previously been a MTN customer I never received poor service.
