Months ago I complained to the technical agents that there is no signal in my area despite several complaints. The agent said that a drive test had been conducted and that property was being purchased in the Farrar Park area to alleviate the capacity issue in the area. I have both my iPhone and data contracts with Vodacom and am not able to work from home due to the lack of signal in the area. My phone has the error message "No Service" and my data dongle says "weak signal". It is not only disgraceful that Vodacom is making no effort to alleviate this issue but in addition is tantamount to since customers are paying subscriptions in exchange for signal with which to be able to make calls and use data. I am tired of condescending agents saying that the problem will be resolved and that Vodacom does not have to provide a signal to customers... what on earth is the subscription fee being charged for then? I want a resolution to this issue by Monday 30 September COB, failing which I will refer this matter to the Consumer Protection Council and my legal department
