MTN network issues & couldn't block my phon

On the 28th of August my phone was around 09:00 the morning, I then called my insurance and MTN to block the IMEI number and sim card. I called plus minus 5 times that morning and every time it was told they are offline and have network issues and are unable to block my IMEI and sim. The Thursday 29th Aug I repeated my calls and was told the sim story by the Callcentre consultants and which of course some won't interested in helping resolve my concerns on my phone. The Friday morning when I called, I spoke with a gentleman and he then managed to block the sim and IMEI and provide me with my ITC number.

A month went by and on the 01st Oct (yesterday Round 07:30am) I was billed with an amount of R2400.00 and got the shock of my life!!! I enquired by MTN and spoke with a contact centre consultant who was very impatient, she then explained the reason the amount was so high & that she didn't say I should register for games. After investigation today I found out that my phone was used on the 28th August to call and play the 777 game online on the 28th August from 11am - 14pm (the time MTN had network issues) and an amount of over R1500 was taken off my MTN contract by via media
