Upgrade and Overcharge and then NO SERVICE to help

Upgraded my phone 2 weeks ago and rec del on Wed 25 Sept. For 2 days had a problem with the phone and was on endless calls with Vodacom for assistance. After taking the phone to a customer care centre they advised the phone was faulty and should be returned, but had to be returned online. Friday 27 Sept was finally noted that I had complained and the system updated to collect the phone since I had queried within 7 days. (nevermind that none of my other phone calls were even logged 2 days prior). On the MOnday phoned to advise change of pick up, which was never ever actioned. On 1 October was then suddenly debited R5000 for a phone that was meant to be free on the upgraded contract. I phoned Vodacom immediately when this was noticed, they advised they can see the phone was meant to be free and I should contact upgrades in the morning. From 8-11am today I was transferred from upgrades/billings/cancellations/admin/enquiries and back again until one lady tried to assist as best she can. So although the mistake is Vodacom's and I should not be debited the R5000 for the phone (which is broken) it will take 48 hrs to view and until then, I am out of pocket R5000 and awaiting refund.
