No delivery after "Next-day delivery" promise!

On the 28th of November I was informed that I was now due for an upgrade. I decided to upgrade online with Vodacom to avoid the hassle of having to go in to the shop and i thought it was a bonus that I would get "FREE NEXT-DAY DELIVERY". I completed the upgrade online on the 2nd of December but seeing as I completed it at night, i expected the phone to arrive two days after I upgraded instead of the next day as the order for the phone was placed late at night. Three days later (5 December) I received an SMS saying that I should expect delivery shortly. 10 days after I upgraded (12 December) and i still have not received the phone, nor has anybody contacted me to let me know why the phone has not been delivered. I tried to call the dedicated upgrades number they provide 0821959 and upon following instructions and pressing keys in co ordinance with handheld/data related upgrades, my number/different number, i suddenly hear "This no. does not exist." Upon reading some cases similar to mine on I can see that Vodacom is very incompetent when it comes to online upgrades. I have rarely had a problem with Vodacom and they have been good for the most part, up to now that is.
