INEFFICIENT AND NO ANSWER AT CANCELLATIONS DEPARTM

I have had a query regarding the cancellation of a telephone line for six months now. The Billing department can't credit me before the Cancellation department does their job. The Cancellation department does not answer phone calls, kept waiting 25 minutes on two occasions with no response. Our ADSL was cancelled and the telephone line should have been as well. I have been charged the rental for this line for six months now, everytime asking about it, being told the line has been cancelled. What is so difficult about cancelling the line and refunding. I also heard the line was disconnected and then reconnected (no authority from us). This needs to be sorted and we need to be credited for the six months or so rental that has been charged. There is no Telkom Office where I live anymore, it closed, so it can not be sorted from this side. A Telkom Rep at a Cape Town office sent an email to explain the situation, thinking it was sorted, but it has not been. What do we do to get this sorted. Why must about 6 months rental be paid when it is not due.
