Vodacom
Not sure if this is a hoax

In the last two days I have had repeated calls from Durban numbers (031 830 7943, 031 940 9803, 031 001 2933) where the person claims to be someone from Vodacom offering me per second billing. I am interested to find out if this a Vodacom call centre or a case of phishing? I told the callers that I never take telephonic offers and only work through my local Vodacom shop. They insisted that it is not possible to change to per second billing in the shop. Is this the case? The last person who called was rather insistent, saying that I am welcome to stay on a lower call rate in a rather sarcastic manner, as though that might convince me.
