I attach a previous report, I write on behalf of Ms Mbuli (A cleaner). She took a contract with 8ta in 2011, said contract expired in July 2013. She cancelled the contract via telephone in July 2013. Her bank account was debited with a double debit in September 2013. After calling customer service we are told that because she had not come into a store to cancel the said contract the contract was still effective. A refund was refused. She was never advised that she needs to come in personally to cancel the contract. Should she not receive a refund immediately, the writer will proceed with legal action (despite the minimal amount) on behalf of Ms Mbuli. nS Mbuli went into a 8TA office and personally cancelled her contract on or about September 2013, she once again has lost money, a debit in the region of almost R400.00 has been deducted from her account. The person responsible obviously does not know how to perform his or her job. This is getting a bit ridiculous and is not acceptable. A formally letter of Demand will be served on you very shortly.
