Port your number to Cell C- get the worst service

After being a client of Vodacom for many years, I decided to port my number to Cell C as they assured me of good service, and that they have excellent network coverage. Both these points are far from the truth.

I have had so many problems with Cell C's service ever since I changed over to them a couple of months ago. I have a 1 Gig of data bundle I cannot use, and there is almost no coverage where I live. And almost every second call I am on gets dropped. I am in a sales industry and cannot afford to miss my calls all the time.

My sms's also doesn't go through most of the time. I have logged calles and spoken to so many people at the call centre. But no one takes ownership of the problem. I have literally spent hours trying to sort this out.

I said to them today that I would then rather cancel my contract if this is the case, and they just said no I cant do that as I am in two year contract. I eventually spoke to a supervisor today, and she promised that she will get back to me within a half an hour, and needles to say, she did not call back?

There must be something I can do??? The consumer protection act must be able to help, I don't know what to do..
