In April of this year i decided to Port from Vodacom to Cell C - and was THE WORST MISTAKE EVER. Ever since changing to CELL C i have had nothing but frustration and must have at least 20-30 dropped calls per day within JHB.

Cell C are huge on false advertising that their coverage is 97% of SA, clearly the heart of JHB and More specifically Bedfordview does not fall into that Coverage.

Not only did i change my Cell contract but also have a 3G dongle with 2gigs of pre-paid data a month loaded, only to find that i "supposedly" used my 2gigs of data within 9 days, for a person only using this for e-mail and the occasional log onto a few shares sites and FB now and then, i certainly need to question the data usage as well.

Does anyone know how i would be able to get out of this contract without having to pay any penalties?? As i have logged complaint after complaint and am getting nowhere at all.

I was told 3 weeks after i ported that i would have a massive cancellation penalty if i was to cancel - so basically they have me by the now... Unless anyone can advise of a way out...

It would also be interesting to see how many other people have had this same problem.???
