Poor network coverage and incompetent call centre

I have had network coverage problems since changing my contract from MTN to Cell C about 6 months ago. Cell C advertises the best deals, but they do not advertise that they also have poor network coverage in many areas over Johannesburg and outlying areas resulting in dropped calls / failed calls / inability to connect to network at all. I have laid numerous complaints and the response being that within a year or so their coverage will be upgraded. This is unacceptable and dangerous to be with a service provider that one may need to rely on for telecommunication for emergency purposes that is totally unreliable. I would certainly not advise that anyone be tricked by their adverts of good deals and call rates. I would rather pay more at another service provider and have a reliable service, after all that is why we have cell phones, is to be able to make calls. I called the call centre to try and arrange my current contract cell number to be released onto prepaid so that I can port to another network, but they say they don't have record of this. Service is absolutely useless and I don't know how my problem can be solved as I do not want to be on this service provider anymore!
