Renewal-MTN not honouring Q3 quarterly promo

Hi,

I was approached by MTN to renew (upgrade) my contract. I requested the schedule of product pricing options available. MTN sent me the Q3 quarterly promo schedule.
I reviewed the schedule immediately on 19/09/13 the morning I received the schedule and choose package:

2013-08-01 2013-09-30 MTN Anytime 200 SONY XPERIA Z SONY XPERIA Z TABLET 10.1" Tablet LTE VAS 399 199YD 3PP

LINE ITEM 1980 on PDF quarterly promo schedule.

Sales person advised me that they have requested the feedback on the deal from the pricing department. My response to this was " is it a error on schedule" I was advised later that day that the deal as been retired. My response was how can that be as the deal is valid until 30/09/13.

Sales consultant took this forward to the with the retentions department, and I have been advised today that there is no positive feedback and that I need to pay R699 for this package.

This shocking and appalling service from MTN. You have a deal on your quarterly promo schedule, I accept the deal and then only i am told by MTN they can not honour the deal.

I have been a customer for over 10 years. It is quite disappointing when customers are treated so poorly.
